INTERFAITH - One God, One Family
"There will not be peace until there is peace among religions"

Dear Families and Friends,
For the past three years Steve and I have been joyfully working with many people of different faiths as well as leading our weekly New Thought ministry. We are two of the founding members of the Poway Interfaith Team, members of the All-Faith Dialogue, and the San Dieguito Interfaith Minister's Association as well as actively participating in many interfaith committees, activities, programs and events. Our heart is in interfaith work. Steve's new book, The Interfaith Manual is selling rapidly and we are hearing many wonderful comments about it.

In August we will be formulating a new direction for the Family Spiritual Center, one which embraces and teaches about ALL FAITHS. Steve and I will be creating the companion workbook for The Interfaith Manual. Our goal is to teach a weekly Friday night class, starting in September, in which we will compare the similarities, customs, thoughts and beliefs of the 12 religions highlighted in the book. We also plan to invite guest speakers, show movies of the world religions, as well as host field trips to the worship services of the different faiths.

We invite you to join us for our interfaith classes, movies and field trips. If you are spiritual seekers, you will gain many insights into the various religions. There is a beautiful place for everyone and we honor and respect each person's spiritual path and choice.
Since our focus will be on Interfaith and Interreligious Studies, we will not continue our Sunday Services at this time. This does not mean we will give up our New Thought beliefs. We are embedded in these NT Spiritual Principles and we see ourselves as New Thought Ministers teaching Interfaith classes for the purpose of Peace, Understanding, Compassion and Education. Once we begin to understand each other, the barriers of fear, bias and hate break down. We ALL have one Mother-Father God so we are all Spiritual brothers and sisters. It is time to HEAL our Family.

As we teach the Interfaith Classes we will continue our Quest to establish an interfaith center in the San Diego area, called
"The Universal Center." I read somewhere, a "Goal" is a push and a "Quest" is a pull. We feel we are being both pushed and pulled by God to do this work.
